Bentley’s Antique & Fine Art Auctioneers was originally founded by Raj Bisram and Wilfred Wheaton in 1995 as Cranbrook Auction Rooms. On Wilf’s retirement Raj was joined by his co-Director Mark Foster in 1996 and the company became Bentley’s Antique & Fine Art Auctioneers Ltd in 2000.  Robin Fletcher joined Bentley's in January 2024 as Senior Manager,  Auctioneer and Valuer, and is responsible for the day to day management of Bentley’s, with Mark and Raj working in consultancy and auctioneering roles. 

 

Our sales are held at Bentley’s showrooms and offices at The Old Granary, Cranbrook, Kent.  A fine 18th century, grade II listed, white weatherboard, former granary that has found sympathetic commercial use in the 21st century.

 

Since 1995 the company has gone from strength to strength and now attracts a wide range of high quality Antiques, Fine Art, 20th Century Design, Collectors Items, Furnishing pieces, Chattels and all manner of rare, interesting and unusual items for its monthly auctions.  

 

Our sales are held on the first Friday of each month at our premises with the viewing days on the Wednesday 1pm - 5.30pm and Friday before the sale from 9.30am to 5.30pm, (see calendar for the next auction date).

 

We are open Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) 9.30am to 5.00pm.
